A blood donation camp and member orientation of RRC volunteers was conducted in the college on 27.06.2018 from 9.30. a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The programme started with an awareness class. Dr. C. K. Mohan, Principal SKHMC, inaugurated the event, followed by blood donation by the volunteers. 118 volunteers participated and 52 units of blood were donated. Dr, N.V .Sugathan, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. R. Bindhusaran, RRC programme officer & Dr. R. Sonnymon NSS program officer participated in the programme. Blood bank Medical Officer Dr. Sastha and team from Govt headquarters hospital, Padmanabhapuram have collected blood from the donors after screening. The programme was concluded with participants’ feedback and certificates were distributed.
